Mathura Switchgears Pvt. Ltd was established in 1979 by a few technocrats, with hands-on experience in the manufacture of assembled switchgear and control panels, to bring out the accessory products to the main switchgear as another range in themselves. Beginning with fuse fittings, push buttons and indicating lamps, slowly this range expanded to cover other products like push button stations, pendant push button stations, rotary switches and industrial hooters. The House Service Cutout , an exclusive export product, was added to the list with termination products, earth rods and accessories. Products were tested at leading National Test Laboratories for compliance to national and international Standards and a quality management system conforming to ISO9001:2000 was implemented very early in Mathura. Major consultants as well as leading names both in private and public sectors today accept brand Mathura products as reliable. Our House Service Cutout, was approved and accepted by the Ministry of Water and Electricity , Sultanate of Oman, Ceylon Electricity Board and Kenya Power and Lighting Company Limited and there has been a regular flow of orders from these countries. A custom-built product, epoxy resin cast Test Plug for medium voltage switchgear for an international switchgear company for their manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia, is a new product we added recently. Our export of electrical goods has diversified further to cover cable termination products, brass terminal strips for earth and neutral connections, earth rods with accessories and also many other engineering products sourced from others. Mathura Engineering Services, another independent division of Mathura, is into engineering services like design, preparation of specifications and drawings for High Voltage and Extra High Voltage Switchyards as well as major electrical installations in Cement Plants both in India and abroad.
